Why John McCain must Win

This election is more than just Democrat versus Republican.  Its capitalism versus socialism.  Its liberty versus fascism.  I would like nothing more than to vote for the first black president, if he shares the same values as me.  I believe in life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness.  I don’t believe in the redistribution of wealth or instituting a new civilian military brigade.  Sorry but this is way too similar to the socialist dictator regimes of Saddam Hussein and his “Popular Army”, Hugo Chavez with his “National Reserve”, Moammar Gadaffi, with the Libya People’s Militia, Chairman Mao with his “Red Guard” and of Course Fidel Castro with his Youth Labor Army…

John McCain has fought for America longer than his opponent has been alive, and spent more time languishing, bruised, beaten and broken, in a North Vietnamese prison than his opponent has spent in the United States Senate. Like those who fought and bled through cold winters and immeasurably dismal odds in Boston, in Brooklyn, in Princeton and beyond nearly 200 years before his A-4E Skyhawk was torn from the skies above Hanoi, John McCain has given everything and more out of unfettered faith that the great experiment which is America could be a beacon of freedom for Her own people as well as those across the world.

Yet this very day, he faces an opponent who treats America like an extroverted child that needs to be pacified, scolded, reprimanded and tossed into the corner for a “time out,” a man who counts among his closest friends and associates people who believe that America is the problem and not the solution. An unrepentant domestic terrorist and his wife who, as recently as last year, have maintained that violence is an acceptable form of dissent and that they haven’t done enough. A supporter of Palestinian terrorism against Israel and his wife, the latter formerly the chief English language translator to Yasser Arafat. Two preachers and a priest who align themselves with Louis Farrakhan and believe that the United States government created the AIDS virus to eradicate the black race. A few card-carrying communists. A corrupt Syrian businessman. An adviser to a Saudi billionaire. A mentor to the founding members of the Black Panther Party. Today, the American voting public could give this man–rather than the man who has several times escaped death while fighting for America and everything for which She stands–the highest security clearance in all the land.

John McCain is an American, through and through, and has earned the respect of our current and former fighting men and women at home and abroad. Despite his misgivings, Americans can rest assured knowing that John McCain wants nothing more than for America to continue at Her spot as that shining city on a hill, the greatest financial and military power on the planet. John McCain has dedicated his life to Lady Liberty as a soldier, as a congressman, and as a United States Senator. He will do no different as president. Barack Obama, however, considers himself to be a “Citizen of the World,” and is bigger in Berlin than David Hasselhoff could ever hope to be. Americans from coast to coast need to know that Obama would rather see America resign Herself from that position atop the other nations on the globe, that he would like nothing more than for America and Her people to subject themselves to international laws, to international customs, to the laws and policies and goals and aspirations of states which, for years, have fought back overt showings of jealousy with regard to our prosperity and freedom.
